Weathered, Mossy and Patinated Cast Stone Lion with Shield Garden Statue. Europe, 1930s. This is a wonderful garden or gate statue in weathered and mossy cast stone dating back to the early 20th century. Great pose - sitting with his tail curled around this leg and holding a shield. Wonderful details like his tongue and the tail and with a desirable patina. At DEZAAK DELUXE we try to find items that are out of the ordinary. With experience over 40 years, we are known for our singular eye and combining the new and the old. We have a few thousand items in stock in our beautiful showroom in a reclaimed factory building out of the 1930s.
