Pair of English Edwardian Period 1900s Reconstituted Stone Urns with Lion Heads
About the Item
A pair of English Edwardian period reconstituted stone urns on pedestals from the early 20th century, with lion heads and distressed appearance. Born in England at the beginning of Edward VII's reign, this pair of urns attracts our attention with its beautifully weathered patina. The classical shape of each urn is accented with gadroon motifs on the belly and delicate rosettes while the entire structure presents traces of paint. Each urn is raised on a linear base, adorned with lion heads on the sides. With their classical lines and distressed appearance, these English Edwardian reconstituted stone urns circa 1900 will bring a touch of history to any garden or entrance.
