India, late 19th / early 20th century, primitive hand-crafted solid teak wood construction, rectangular frame with two shutters, featuring elaborate mother of pearl inlays forming intricate geometric patterns. circa 1900
A wonderful example of Indian architecture, whether placed atop a large console, fireplace mantle, or mounted to the wall, this highly decorative authentic architectural salvaged building element is sure to add sophisticated whimsical elegance, cozy rustic warmth, and rich cultural and historical interest to any space!
