1900s Qing Southern Chinese Wooden Bucket with Large Handle and Metal Accents

A Southern Chinese late Qing Dynasty period wooden bucket from the early 20th century, with large handle, horizontal metal brace and dark patina. Created in Southern China during the late Qing Dynasty period in the early years of the 20th century, this wooden bucket charms our eyes with its nice proportions and dark patina. Featuring a cylindrical tapering body accented with a metal brace in the center, the bucket is topped with a large handle, carved on its upper rail for a better grip. Placed anywhere in a home, perhaps in a foyer, kitchen or next to a fireplace, this Southern Chinese late Qing Dynasty period wood and metal bucket circa 1900 will bring a touch of authenticity to any decor.
