Antique Mahogany Brass Bound Peat Bucket With Galvanized Liner

About the Item

Antique mahogany peat bucket with slope front and back, brass banded, retracting brass handle and a conforming galvanized liner with matching brass handle. Unmarked. Dimensions: 12 3/4" W, 10 1/8" D, 13" H to top of hinge, 19" H to top of handle. Condition: Please see detail photos. Various age related wear with time softened gouges, edge chips, some bends and pull-aways to brass bands and handle, tarnish and corrosion to interior of liner, one tiny nail sticking up on top of panel, one panel slightly loose, general wear consistent with age and use and retaining an authentic and fine presentation.
