This original vintage Bauhaus style waste bin paper bin umbrella stand was produced in the 1960s in France. It is made of natural rattan with a brass applications at the top edge ring. this item has a fantastic look with nice round formed rattan element and a nice size of 48cm in height. this element can be used a waste bin, decorative object or umbrella Stand.
Straight forward and minimalistic design of the Bauhaus design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The design is reminiscent with the design of Mategot, Hagenauer, Auböck etc.

Condition: This item is in a good vintage condition with normal traces of use and a wonderful patina of over 60 years. some little productional imperfection in the rattan. on one spot a little part of the rattan on the outside is missing, please see images... probably a productional cause imperfection and little damage.
