Early 19th Century Dutch brass bound tea kettle bucket
a Dutch early 19th century tea kettle heater. This tea kettle bucket is made of wood in vertical strips bound with copper bands and these are nailed. Inside the bucket is a copper lining, this is used to hold smoldering charcoal, which kept a tea kettle warm. This mahogany bucket with brass bands has an oval shape with a handle. The bucket shows signs of use. The seam of the copper and the wood.
The measurement with handle is 48 cm high, the bucket itself is 33.5 cm.
