Early 19th Century Dutch brass bound tea kettle bucket

Early 19th Century Dutch brass bound tea kettle bucket a Dutch early 19th century tea kettle heater. This tea kettle bucket is made of wood in vertical strips bound with copper bands and these are nailed. Inside the bucket is a copper lining, this is used to hold smoldering charcoal, which kept a tea kettle warm. This mahogany bucket with brass bands has an oval shape with a handle. The bucket shows signs of use. The seam of the copper and the wood. The measurement with handle is 48 cm high, the bucket itself is 33.5 cm. The width is 33 cm and the depth is 27.5 cm. The weight is 3300 grams
