About the Item
ABOUT
Very rare chemist bin for "Turkey Sponge" with reverse painted gilt glass front panel. It would have been used as a hinged door for a large mahogany pharmacy display cabinet. When opened, it would have been full of loofah-like sponges.
Shown with life size hand model.
CREATOR Manufactured by Hoxton, London for Treble & Son.
