Vintage Czech Art Glass Basket by Frantisek Zemek, 1950's
About the Item
This is a stunning mid-century art glass basket/bowl, designed by Frantisek Zemek and produced by Mstisov Glassworks in Czechoslovakia during the 1950s. The basket is part of the Rhapsody collection and is made of colorful metallurgical glass. Zemek is regarded as one of the top Czech glassmakers and designers of the era. The piece is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear or use, and it is both strong and heavy, making it suitable for any interior.
