About the Item
Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown opalescent pink and gold flecks with diamond quilted surface Italian art glass basket, flower vase. The piece is rather large, and has an applied scissor cut rim with gold leaf, as well as rope handle and rigaree foot, also with gold leaf. The color is a soft pink, but when photographed in a dark background, you can see it looks a little lavender purple. This is because of the opal glass. Would make a great display piece on any dresser or coffee table. Fill it with flowers or showcase it as a sculptural piece. Midcentury era. Measures: 9 3/4" long x 5 3/4" tall x 5 1/2" wide.
