Ceramic Pottery Shell Plate "Pergamon" Hans Welling for Ceramano, Germany, 1960s

About the Item

Article: Ceramic shell bowl Producer: Ceramano, Germany Designer: Hans Welling Decade: 1960-1965 This original studio pottery vintage plate element was designed by Hans Welling and handmade by Ceramano Ransbach-Baumbach in Germany. It has a round form in 25.6cm in diameter and a nice formed base element with a total height of 9cm. the plate is covered with hand-painted ornamentation and an abstract horse in classical style in the center. The coloration was maintained in blue shades which contrasts wonderfully with the black parts. The Pergamon design was first produced in 1959, this one offered was produced in the 1960s and has a handwritten signature on the bottom. A very collectible and very rare item of the Ceramano collection. Straightforward and minimalistic design of the 1970s design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. Dimensions: Height 9cm Diameter 25.6cm Condition: This item is in a very good vintage condition without any damages with patina.
