About the Item
Exquisite polychrome hand painted porcelain scalloped footed bowl or centerpiece with strawberry handles, China, 1950s.
This eye-catching oval bowl was handcrafted in China circa 1950s. It stands up on four reptil shaped feet. The handles at both sides are composed by a set of branches flowers and strawberries. This colorful porcelain piece is hand painted with floral, foliage and bird motifs in amber, soft blue, cobalt blue, red and orange and embellished with a gold leaf trim around the scalloped rim.
Manufacturer's marking and retailer's label on the bottom.
This elegant centerpiece / jardinière is in excellent condition. It would be the perfect choice for a console table filled with flowers or placed on a dining room as decorative centerpiece or planter. Stunning as a gift idea!
