Kiln-Formed "Geometrik" Triangular 24-Karat White Gold Art Glass Bowl

About the Item

Kiln-formed large "Tri-Bowl" triangular shaped art glass bowl with carved design. Featuring a Jet-cut leaf design with Kiln-Formed reliefs worked in know as the "Geometrik" design. The carved out designs come with 24k white gold leaf worked into the relief finished. This one of kind art glass sculpture is signed "Jeffrey Andrews" Jeffrey studied architecture and design under Hans Schroeder and has created interiors, glass art, and furniture for clients including Herman Miller as well as designing a contemporary residence next door to David Letterman. He created Felt Glass Studio in 1990 and has exhibited his work internationally. He is a renowned glass artist who attended Pilchuck Glass school and taught glassmaking at Esalen Institute. In addition to many private commissions, Felt Glass has been sold at Barneys NY, Saks Fifth Avenue, Gumps and Neiman Marcus. Museum stores like the Guggenheim and the American Craft Museum have also exhibited Felt Glass. Felt Glass has been featured in Gourmet, The New York Times, Bon Appetit and Brides.
