19th Century Middle Eastern Moorish brass repousse bowl, finely hand-etched, engraved, hammered and chased with elaborate Moorish Syrian designs decorated with medallions of Arabic calligraphy inscriptions.Very fine engraved and hand-cut Arabic Islamic calligraphy and geometric Moorish designs on brass.Handcrafted brass metal work by artisans.Great brass decorative Islamic art object, Middle Eastern origins, Judaic as seen at Doris Duke Islamic Art Museum, Shangri LA in Hawaii. Measure: Top opening 3.5" base 5" widest part diameter, height 5". Condition, some holes due to age. DIMENSIONS 5"W × 5"D × 5"H.
