About the Item
Copper and wood fruit bowl, Modern styled inspired with geometry than enhances raw excepcional and rare natural material and textures, imbuia and copper - By Brazilian Designer Maker Atelier BAM Design of São Paulo.
The modern design style is one of the most influential movements in contemporary Brazilian design. Among the main names of modernist designers are Lina Bo Bardi, Vilanova Artigas, Oscar Niemeyer, and a few others; giving a legacy maintained by contemporary architects like Isay Weinfeld or Marcio Kogan, to name a few.
It is formed inspired by the iconic modern architecture by Oscar Niemeyer, the Palacio Nereu Ramos in Brasilia, and easily fits into modern and midcentury interiors.
The copper metal is patined with nature's care product, carefully applying thin layers of vinegar, resulting in a rich and unique copper texture and colors. We also use certified Imbuia veneer wood for the wood parts. Imbuia is one of the noblest and most versatile Brazilian woods. One of the favorites and found in several pieces by Sergio Rodrigues.

Atelier BAM
Atelier BAM Design is a young Brazilian-French design team based in Sao Paulo and Paris. It’s formed by two designers and architects: Juliana Bertolucci, from Brazil, and Clément Gérard, from France. After working in international offices in Brazil and in France, the two partners starting working together in 2011. Inspired by Brazilian Design masters and contemporary art, Atelier BAM Design characterizes itself by a precise work where the process has primordial importance in the project. With their work, BAM was a finalist of several prizes of Design and Architecture award and reached the attention of National TV and foreign design magazine.
