Monumental Hand Thrown Glazed Terracotta Bowl Centerpiece

About the Item

A stunning and monumental hand thrown and glazed terracotta bowl in shades of cerulean and lapis blues, hand made in the New Orleans studio of Alex and Cindy Williams. Award-winning artisans Alex and Cindy Williams have created hand-crafted pottery in New Orleans for over 25 years. In their combination studio/showroom on Magazine Street, guests can meet Alex or Cindy at the wheel and browse their selection of unique bowls, mugs, plates, lamps, and more. Home and family inspire Alex and Cindy, as is evident in their Bread Bowls (complete with Alex's Aunt Carmen's Ouick Bread recipe) displayed on wood shelves hand-crafted by Cindy's dad. Every design is first tested in Cindy and Alex's home. Does the pitcher pour right, does the glaze hold up in the dishwasher, does this mug... This bowl would make the perfect centerpiece in your home to compliment a wide variety of decors and sensibilities. A beautiful part of New Orleans artistry to own and admire for years to come.
