Murano Blue Gold Flecks Roticello Ribbons Italian Art Glass Footed Dish Bowl
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown light blue and gold flecks Italian art glass footed bowl. The bowl is made with an intertwined “Roticello” ribbons technique. They create little diamond patterns as you can see on the shadow the cast. It has mini bubbles inside each diamond. It is made with very thin and delicate glass. The rim is flared out, and so is the attached foot, which is covered in gold leaf. Very elegant and older shape. Would make a great display piece on any table, vanity or curio cabinet. Use it as a ring or mint dish on a bedside table. Art Deco, Mid-century era. Measures: 5 3/8” across x 3” high.
