About the Item

Crafted from ironwood these Mentawai tribal bowls feature handles and subtle wood detailing. Wonderful decorative bowls or table centrepieces certain to invoke conversation. The Mentawai tribes are situated on a series of islands off the western coast of Sumatra, Indonesian. Known for their unique traditions and craftsmanship. These bowls would have been used to prepare & serve food. Dimensions: Left: Height 4cm x Width 11cm x Depth 23.5cm Right: Height 4cm x Width 12.5cm x Depth 25cm.
