Signed Carlo Moretti Bowl and Metal Stand, c1985 Moretti founded his own company in 1958 with his brother Giovanni. Born in Murano he decided to become a lawyer before realising his destiny. The Murano glass master passed away in 2008. This was designed in 1982/3 and manufactured between 1983 and 1988. Additional information: Date : 1983-1988 Origin : Murano Italy Bowl Features : A sapphire blue bowl supported on a chrome metal frame Marks : Bowl signed Carlo Moretti Type : Lead glass Size : W 22.5 x L 29.5 x H 16.5 cm Condition : Some light scratches in base of glass bowl. There is a scuff and some tarnishing in the chrome where the bowl sits in the stand Restoration : None
