Vintage Alfredo Barbini Murano Glass, a Pentoni & Gold Polveri Sculptural Bowl
Has been documented as an Alfredo Barbini piece by others.
Color: Black ("Amethyst") with white spots (a macchie) and gold polveri
Type: Thickly cased, hand blown glass, up to about 1" density at thickest points
Design: Abstract / Biomorphic/ Organic
Condition: No chips or cracks noted. Great vintage condition, in our opinion, and it's a STUNNER.

Alfredo Barbini
Alfredo Barbini (1912–2007), a glass artist born in 1912 on the islands of Murano in the lagoon of Venice, Italy, was one of Murano's leading figures of the 20th century. His parents were members of families, which had been prominent in the glassmaking industry on Murano for generations as glassblowers and beadmakers.
