About the Item
A small bowl made of thick clear and lightblue glass with bubbles and oxide inclusions. Most probably designed and manufactured by the German studio glass artist Volkard Precht ca. 1960s. Precht is considered as the first European studio glass artist. Educated as lamp working glass artist he started his glass studio in 1963 with a home-made glass oven. Precht is one of the most important German glass artists of the 20th century.
