An exceptionally fine quality early Edwardian Signed Austrian Royal Vienna cabinet deep dish plate of circular outline. Last quarter of the Nineteenth Century. Signed lower left KNOILLEZ The central reserve with a raised lavish tooled gilt border exquisitely hand painted with two classical Maidens and a scantily clad child within a leafy landscape, after Angelica Kauffman. Titled verso Grazien Condition: Exceptional condition for such an early example, no wear to gilding, possibly never used, usual “BEEHIVE” mark in underglaze blue Measures: Height: (entire) 9.75” (24.5cm). Width: 9.75” (24.5cm). Location: Dublin City, Ireland.
