Humlebæk Large 1940s Danish Hand-Painted Decorative Centerpiece Bowl

About the Item

Large Danish early midcentury decorative centerpiece dish handmade in the 1940s at Humlebæk Keramik in the small town of Espergærde in northern Zealand. Cream yellow base with hand-painted dark brown ship with warm yellow sails on wavy blue seas and organic decor in around the edges in the same yellow and blue colors. Stamped under base. Great vintage condition consistent with the item's almost 100 years of age. Denmark, 1940s.
