Murano Sommerso Glass Decorative Dish Large Red Centrepiece Bowl circa 1960s

About the Item

Midcentury Murano Sommerso large centrepiece dish. Beautiful elliptical shaped bowl with a slightly inverted rim to one end. The colour is clear with a gradient red fading to blood red in the centre. Very intriguing colouring. This glass will make for a nice centrepiece dish. Considerably large and heavy, (pre-packaged weight is 2.75kg.) Offered here in neat vintage condition. Shows small surface marks consistent with age. No chips, no cracks, no damage. .
