Porcelain Jewelry Dish

About the Item

A beautiful and well-made hand painted porcelain jewelry dish, in the Empire style, circa mid to late-20th century, Hungary. This octagonal dish vide-poche catchall has a beautiful hand-painted green malachite design accompanied by gold gilt Griffons, medusa head at center, and acanthus leaves around edge. A beautiful standalone piece or to hold jewelry, candy, or other small items on a vanity, desk, bedside table, dresser, cocktail table, etc. Very good condition as shown in images. No chips noted. Dimensions: 1.25" Height x 5.38" Depth x 6.82" Width.
