Set of Two Ceramic Bowls, Drejargruppen Rörstrand, 1974
About the Item
A set of two modernist stoneware bowls designed by the Drejargruppen collective for Rörstrand 1974.
Dimensions:
Diameter 30cm and 17 cm.
Each marked on the bottom "R" Sweden Drejar Gruppen 1974 and GM for Gösta Millberg, who was an artist, porcelain decorator, and designer.
In the 1960s, he was employed at Rörstrands Porslinsfabrik in Lidköping and eventually ended up in the factory's studio, where he became artistic director in the 1980s.
The bowls are great as a piece of art, but you can also use them as a lovely fruit bowl, the larger one, and as a vide-poche, the smaller one.
