19th Century French Bronze Metal Overlay Vanity Powder Glass Jar
About the Item
This is a French bronze metal overlay round powder glass jar/box. It depicts a hinged lidded glass jar decorated with a long gilt garland of bows and flowers and some fine beads. The lid is also adorned with the same, but it is enhanced with a hand painted portrait of an 18th century young lady in the center. Behind the lid, there is a mirror. The base of the glass jar is adorned with a starburst.
