Quite simply, this is a stunning example of a 19th Century hand crafted Hoshiarpur inlaid writing box. The craftsmanship is quite amazing as you can see, one of the finest examples we have had the pleasure of acquiring.

Date: 1870 - 1880
Material: Natural, wood and brass
Aged look due to its use over many years, the inside compartments are not present as shown. With light scuffs, scratches and worn edges as shown in all the photos provided. This item is completely solid in structure and form.
