A fine antique Jasper ware round covered box. By Wedgwood. In dark blue dip. Fully marked to the base. Simply a wonderful box by Wedgwood. Date: 20th Century Overall Condition: The box is in overall good as-pictured used estate condition with no cracks or repairs. Condition Details: There are small spots of fritting around the entire circumference of the lid, light edge wear, fine and light surface scratches and scuffing here and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Measurements: Height: ca. 1 7/8 in. Diameter: ca. 3 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you. Purchases may be returned for any reason for a period of 7 days.

Rolling vine and grape cameo reliefs, all over the lid and base sides. Fabulous large pointed finial on the lid with floral cameo reliefs on the sides. Exterior in an unglazed matte biscuit finish, but the interior of the box base, has a high gloss finish. In very good original condition, save one minor repair to the inside of the base rim.
