Unusual and Ornate Gilt Bronze Champlevé Enamel Lidded Casket. After a bamboo box, this champlevé box contains five enameled faces with gilt bronze bamboo trim and tree branch feet. Each face contains a black background with gilt stems and branches dappled with multi colored enamel flowers and leaves, all arranged in a symmetrical composition.
