Early 19th Century Bright Blue Swedish Antique Travelling Box

About the Item

Swedish hand-made antique blue traveling box from the 1820s to 1830. This charming little box has bright blue original paint and hand wrought hardware in iron. The box was used to storage valuables when travelling, hence the sturdy iron hardware. It is a great pop of colour and certain focal point while also bringing history and dimension to any space. The paint has patina and distress of time as well as some traces of use. There is no lock.
