Exquisite Limoges France Polychrome Porcelain Egg with Perfume Bottle Inside
About the Item
Exquisitely handmade and hand painted miniature Limoges porcelain egg shaped perfume box with a hinged lid is decorated with pretty polychrome flowers and Butterly motif over a soothing blue background. The porcelain box and lid feature rims or fittings of richly patterned antiqued gold gilt metal and the closure is an intricate open work miniature butterfly. Nestled inside the egg is one square glass perfume bottle with a round glass blue orb crowned above the ornate gilt metal top.
Box is hallmarked on the bottom of the egg, "Chamar Decor Main Limoges France".
Closed box measures approximately: 2.07" high x 1.63" wide x 1.71" deep. The miniature perfume bottle inside measures approximately: 1.43" tall.
