French 1830s Louis-Philippe Period Foot and Bed Warmer with Large Handle

A French Louis-Philippe period foot and bed warmer from the early 19th century, with large handle. Created in France during the second quarter of the 19th century, this wooden bed warmer features a rectangular tapered box that opens thanks to a pierced lid to reveal a compartment made to receive hot coals. Topped with a large handle, this Louis-Philippe bed warmer circa 1830 will be a lovely addition to any home décor!
