French Faience de Gien trivet or coaster. Vegetal decor with two angel and a bird, in the Italian renaissance style. The earthenware factory of Gien or the earthenware factory of Gien is a fine earthenware manufacturing company located in the French town of Gien in the department of Loiret and the Centre-Val de Loire region. Among the many earthenware works born in the 19th century, Gien is one of the most famous and important in Europe.
