George V Sterling Silver Table Trinket Box

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver trinket box in the form of a table; an addition to the ornamental silverware collection
This exceptional antique sterling silver trinket box has been modelled in the form of a 20th century table/cabinet.
The surface of this antique trinket box embellished with applied details reproducing the furniture's raised geometric panels and mouldings.
The original hallmarked hinged cover is ornamented with a further cross shaped design and opens to reveal the wood and coloured paper lined interior.
The box is supported by four pillar and barley twist decorated legs, conjoined with a classic central strut.
The underside of this impressive box retains the original leatherette covering.
This exceptional box is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire.

This antique sterling silver trinket box is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The box has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks to the rim of the cover are all very clear.
