Vintage Signed Chrome, Brass, Black Resin Hinged Monumental Sculptural Box
About the Item
This stunning and sculptural monumental beautifully made Italian hinged heavy box is signed and stamped Linea Ble Roma. It is from the 20th century and is comprised of chrome, brass bronze and a black resin composite as the interior. The black resin composite is elegant. It has textural raised geometric designs on top in the style and form of Paul Evans. Unfortunately the signature is totally illegible and even with a macro lens it does not read. It is very heavy, large and an amazing vintage box. It is one of a kind and made in Rome. This is a spectacular box and a piece of sculpture in box form. The beauty does not show up in the photos. It has all been polished professionally. The box is 11 3/8" L/W x 9 1/9" D x 2 1/4" H to the chrome part. This is really a stellar special box for a great desk, cocktail table, credenza and or console. This is a piece de resistance and a substantial box on all levels. It is heavy in weight and monumental in size for a box. This is art and sculpture. This reads so much better in person. It is one of our favorite box's ever!
