About the Item
A beautiful English jasperware box with acanthus leaf and Greek-Key design, circa late-19th century, England. Piece is attributed to Wedgwood and designer, John Flaxman. Box is oval, matte (unglazed), with a yellow raised frieze of Greek-Key and acanthus leaf design on base and lid, gold details on knob, lid edge, bottom base area and loop detail on sides. A beautiful, rare piece, great as a standalone item or for a bathroom vanity, bookshelf, sideboard, library, office, etc. Very good condition as shown in images. No chips noted. Dimensions: 3.82" deep x 5.13" wide x 5.63" height
