Murano Green Silver Flecks Bubbles Italian Art Glass Vanity Powder Jewelry Box
About the Item
Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso green, silver flecks and controlled bubbles Italian art glass powder or jewelry box. Created in the manner of the Barovier e Toso company. The lidded jar has a ribbed surface, with "Bullicante" technique bubble decoration throughout the clear layer, over the green. The piece is profusely covered in heavy silver leaf, including the top of the lid. Would make a great display piece for any bedside / coffee table, vanity or credenza. Use it as a decorative piece on room in the house, or use it as a jewelry box. Mid-century era. Measures: 7” across the body x 4 3/4” tall.
