Oyster Veneered Antique Styled Jewellery Box
About the Item
This beautiful and very handsome William and Mary Style lace box was designed from old oak timber and then sympathetically covered in an olive oyster veneer. The box would have originally been used to house lace, however, it would make an outstanding jewellery or keepsake box. It measures 15 inches wide and 11 1/2 inches deep with an overall height of 5 1/2 inches. Both the key and working lock are brass, and the veneer features a cross banded border around the top edge. This piece would make a fine addition to a range of room settings and enhance any bedroom or library.
