Charles X yellow cut-crystal box with molded "bamboo" ribbing on the body and long squares and diamond patterns on the lid. Finely sculpted gilt bronze mounts are decorated with flowers, and the keyhole is decorated with leafy branches and flowers. Ormolu medallions with shells and floral patterns adorn both sides of this? casket? which rests on four shell-shaped feet flanked by flowers and foliage,
circa 1815.
