Vintage Hand Painted Folk Art Decorative Wood Box, Trunk or Stool in Pink
About the Item
A decorative folk art hand-painted wood box with a hinged lid. A fabulous little box perfect for toy storage or small miscellaneous items. The top of the piece is hand-painted with the silhouette of a white cat with a pink bow. It is framed out with a rich pink border and on a mint background of pink tulips. Each side of the box is painted with the same white feline silhouette. On both front and back is a hand-painted striped floral motif of tulips in pink with green leaves. The box has four legs, one on each corner, is hinged, and opens to reveal a white painted interior.
This piece reminds us of Julia Berolzheimer's daughter's room. A whimsical piece that would be fabulous in a child's room for small storage. It could even be used as a small step stool in a child's bathroom.
