About the Item
This stunning vintage Italian silver-plate, brass and wood hinged box is a beauty. The twisted brass rope design on the bottom is an interesting element that refines and raises the bar. The interior is black stained wood. It is from the 70's and not a common box by any measure. This makes a great cocktail addition or a fabulous desk accessory. It has been polished. Please note that the box is hinged but it does not stand up straight on its own nor remain open and perpendicular. This is how it was originally made at the time.
