Antique Austrian Onyx Jewelry Box with Figural Cold Painted Bronze Spaniel Dog
About the Item
This antique decorative or jewelry box is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from Austria and dating to approximately 1920 and done in the period Art Deco style. The body of the box is made of polished onyx with silver plated framing. The top of the box features a cast Spaniel dog which has been silver plated and cold-painted. The box is very well constructed and the hinge mechanism is very sturdy.
