Vintage hand carved wood jewelry trinket storage box with brass inlaid. Hand-carved large wooden Anglo-Raj jewelry box. Found in Kashmir, India. Mid 20th century wood box richly decorated overall with arabesques and floral carving. Vintage trinket storage box that has been hand carved featuring intricate floral detail with a brass inlaid design on top lined with a red velvet interior and includes a clip clasp closure. This Anglo-Indian box is carved from teak wood and is elegantly decorated with small floral motifs in Kashmiri carvings with some brass inlay work. Circa 1950's. India. Size: 10.75"(L) x 7.75“(D) x 5"(H). Islamic folk art from Rajasthan.
