- Gunnar Ander Black Lacquered Candelabra for Ystad Metall, Sweden 1950sBy Gunnar Ander, Ystad-MetallLocated in Utrecht, NLGunnar Ander was an industrial designer and architect, and one of the brightest stars of 20th-century Swedish metal, wood, and glass design. The candles’ cups are made of brass that stand out beautifully against the black structure. The cups are formed so that the dripping wax is caught inside of them, similarly to chambersticks. Arranged carefully at different heights, the cups make the design dynamic and quite organic as well. With home improvements...Category
