A Pair of Early 19th Century English Candelabra
About the Item
A pair of cut glass and bronze candelabra. Regency Style, Made in England, C. 1815. Step cut base and candle cups. Bronze Foliate stem and base. Crystals hang from cut glass bobeches. Crystal is in excellent condition, the original gilding on metals has darkened. Grounded in the regency period, the simple geometry of the step cut gives these pieces a look that can play nice with art deco and modern finishings. These would be stunning in an entry tablescape, in the dining room, or on a mantlepiece.
