About the Item

An impressive pair of French gilt bronze three-light candelabra in a foliate motif, signed “Henry Dasson et Cie 1892” on the base. Henry Dasson. Henry Dasson (c. 1825–1896) was a nineteenth century Parisian maker of gilt-bronze mounted furniture. Unlike other cabinetmakers of the time, Dasson began his career as a bronze sculptor. The candelabra are in very good condition, with some gilt surface losses and other minor imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Each measure approximately 18.75 in H x 13 in diameter, with an 8.5 in diameter base. Ref: 164
