About the Item
Set of 4 Swedish Modernist candle holders by Gunnar Ander. Produced by Ystad-Metall, located in the town of Ystad in Sweden.
Candle-holders in solid, polished brass on a base of clear glass with an irregular surface pattern. Glas shades in different colors, green, purple and two different shades of red.
These candle holders are foreseen for tea-lights.
All are signed signed with the Ystad Metall logotype and the stylized initials of Gunnar Ander.
Gunnar Ander is a Swedish artist born in 1908. He created many objects in metal and glass which are represented in museums in Sweden. He collaborated with Ystad Metall until his death in 1976.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Nice state, light patina to the brass, see photographs. One red glass shade has a chip at the base, this is not visible when placed on the candle-holder.
