A Sicilian wooden palm holder with an original floral composition, handcrafted in Italy in the late 19th century, features lacquered and gilded wood. The palm holder is in its original condition with signs of use and age. It was used to adorn houses and small private chapels inside wealthy homes in the south of Italy.
