Pair of Italian 18th Century Regence St. Solid Walnut Torchières
About the Item
An impressive and most decorative pair of Italian 18th century Regence st. solid walnut Torchières. Each Torchière is raised by three scrolled feet below the beautiful and uniquely shaped carved supports with fine hammered designs. The central supports follow the most decorative shape with turned mottled elements and additional scrolled movements with hammered designs. Above are the triangular display tiers with concave sides and the original striking iron candle spikes. All original rich patina throughout.
